Space Ninja

Yesterday was stinky. My band had its first gig of the season and it was awful.

We all arrived at school last weekend and spent the entire week rehearsing, practically everyday. We worked up a lot of awesome tunes, brushed up on new ones, and worked in our dancers as well.

We had a really great turn out!!! We were all super psyched about it. Then it got to playing, and the stupid losers running the sound did the absolute worst job i’ve ever seen. in practically every song where an instrument was playing the melody, sound services messed up and something went wrong with the melody mic, for long enough that we got lost. We’re talking at least 30 seconds. So by the time the melody came back in, we were all in different places, and couldn’t end a tune together. *sigh* it’s a school club that does sound, and it was a school event, so i guess we just humiliated ourselves.

And that’s all i have to say about that.
