Well, it is now officially

Well, it is now officially less than one week until Steve arrives in New York!!! I’m so excited, I can’t wait to see him :)

He gets to do the scary thing…he gets to meet my parents. My friends and I have decided to take him to the Statue of Liberty since none of us has ever gone.

The bad part is that I only have to work Friday and Saturday this week (I waitress at a catering hall) so it’s probably gonna go by really slow :( Oh well, a week is a week, right? But then again, time is relative. *sighs*

I love you, Steve :-D

well, as long as you two are being all lovey-dovey, I guess I can mention that Annie just went home from my house. :) She came down to Portland yesterday to suprise me. Lucky for her (and me), Dad was awake, so she could get into the house… I probably would have slept right through her knocking…I love you, Annie!Oh, and uh, have a great week, Steph and Steve!

Can I come? I still haven’t made it out to the Statue proper yet.

Definitely! It looks like we’ll be going on Thursday, the 19th. How does that sound? We were also thinking of going to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Where would you like to meet?

Hehehehe… I spent two days in the Met. Wow. It’s a heck of an adventure. Look for small room done in wood inlay. It’s through the medival section. If you can find it, it’s awesome.

Well, if you guys’ll be coming in on the LIRR, then probably Penn Station would make sense. Wherever you get into Manhattan. I’ll go and tell my boss tonight that I want Thursday off, if that works (she’ll make the schedule on sunday).

Penn Station sounds good. But where in Penn Station would you like to meet? It gets kind of confusing there. Well, at least Steve knows what you look like!
