So if you’ve read my journal, you know that I’m looking for a new apartment. In Ellensburg, it was no problem. I had a great 2 bedroom apartment that only cost us $650 a month. That was high for Ellensburg. Becky lived in a nice 2 bedroom that only cost them like $500 or so. Cost to me isn’t really an issue. I’m making more money than I can spend (almost ;-). What does matter to me is size and layout. Most of the apartments here have terrible layouts. If the living room is nice, then the bedrooms are small. If the bedrooms are nice, then the living room sucks. If the whole place is a good size, then there’s no wall space in the living room. I tell ya, just give me a boxy apartment with some wall space and decent sized bedrooms and I’ll be happy! If I could find a layout like Urns, mine, or Becky’s, then life would be grand.
Is the weather in Ellensburg nice yet? Here’s a quick summary of the last week here. Last wednesday it was sunny and 65. Thursday was cloudy with cooler temperatures. By saturday there was snow on the ground. Sunday was warmer, but still snowing. Monday we had icy roads with lots of fog. Tuesday (weirdest of all) fog in the morning, sun around noonish, around 3pm it was dark skies, thunderstorms and tornado warnings, and then cold and fog during the night. Weird!
