		<description>a guy at the KOIN lived there, same apartment type/position on the floor as you, actually.  but he had no roommate.  it was a bit nicer when it was just one person.  still trashy though, but then again, it was cheap.</description>

		<description>When I lived in the U of O dorms, I occasionally longed for the extra space you had in the Ondine . . . my dorm measured about 8 feet by 15 feet. You had it easy compared to that . . . except for that kitchen. I never envied your kitchen.

		<description>The one thing they didn't mention (at least not in the small quote Scott posted) was that the Ondine had a very peculiar, very unpleasant odor that was always present and completely unidentifiable. Oddly enough it varied depending upon which floor you were on but it was never a good smell.</description>

And of course, the heating and ac are controlled by the central office to save money-- so the heat isn't on until it's consistently below 30ºF and the a/c isn't on until it's consistenly above 90ºF.
