Okay. FIVE posts in a month. I’m reconsidering my opinion on whether or not this board is dead. Should I take it down? If not, what can I do to improve it? Should I open it to the public? Should we allow anyone to post? If we do that, what does it have to do with Ellensburg? Please reply to this post and tell me what you think of this site and its future. Please be specific. If you value this board, give suggestions. If you don’t care about this board, would you rather post on something like what I’m trying to turn Killing Machines into? (see my post on Rusty.KMorg if you don’t know what I’m talking about).

If it’s not a huge labor to keep it running, I’d like to see you continue to keep Eburg.KM.org going. I think the postings will increase a lot when even fewer of us are in Eburg, or it’ll die entirely. (If it dies, then I’d take it down.) (Duh.)

Well, here’s what I’d recommend…
the main , or rusty.KMO or whatever = Scott, Miles, and Steve
Eburg.kmo = your friends, like it is now
peons = anyone who wants a private journal.
Perhaps make Peons the main page, and change the steve/scott/miles page to something in keeping with the dictatorship theme, like overlords.kmo. Perhaps eburg could be changed to something along those lines… Trustedlt.kmo or somesuch. That way, the average person only needs to remember killingmachines.org to get to their journal, and not the subdomain. Might boost popularity, people are lazy like that.
Also, it’s not taken already, it’d be cool if you could just type http://www.kmo.org and it’d work the same. Again, the simpler the addy is, the easier it’ll be for people to remember and pass around outside the internet.
‘Hey, you been to kmo.org? It’s awesome!’
as opposed to
‘Hey, you been to peons.killingmachines.org yet?’
It works fine online where you can make it into a link, but try saying that outloud with a straight face.

But this is the official outlet for E-burg veterans exiled in the Portland metro area… Where will we go for support?

This page is green.
Green is two things.
One is in touch with nature.
Another is the old middle school definition that green is the color of people who are horny.
Thus, the green color scheme means the eburg posters are horny tree-huggers. I don’t know about the second bit, but I’ve seen Ellensburg, it was not a town of tree-huggers.
