I shaved my head. I’m not sure where the idea came from. I just suddenly had the urge to do so. I waited until after graduation (no sense in irritating my family when they’re coming to see me), and then I had Annie help me out. It was an interesting feeling, watching all my hair fall on the floor. The clippers would only take it so far, and then I had to use a razor, which was another interesting experience. I’ve never had to shave something I couldn’t see before. I had to do it all by touch.
Anyway, it was finally done, and I think it looks kinda cool. I doubt I’ll keep it as my normal haircut, but it’s fun to experiement with. My first though, standing there in front of the mirror with no shirt on was that I looked like Edward Norton in American History X, minus the tattoos, nazism, and not in as good shape, of course. Now I think I look kinda like Shel Silverstein, the kid’s poet, which I don’t like, since he’s easily one of the creepiest looking people I’ve ever seen.
The network guy in my building is going to try and fix my Windows2000 box today, so hopefully tonight I can start broadcasting Radio Fojar: Music for the Revolution. :)
