I posted a new skin here called Rustbucket. You can find it on the options page. I’m pretty fond of it, so I set it as the new default skin.
And while I’m talking about the site, let me take a moment to ask you all what you think of Rusted. What do you like and what do you dislike? I’m not really looking to change anything, but it would be nice to get some of your opinions.

1) I really like Rustbucket, yes I do. I think it’d look a wee bit better if it was centered like the macintosh skin, though. That way if your screen resolution is 800×600, and you don’t feel like resizing the window to fit the width of the skin, it doesn’t look all funny when it’s on the side of the window.2) I like KMorg a lot. I like posting to my journal, I like keeping up with other people’s journals, and I like replying and getting replied to. It’s neat to write something and find somebody who feels like replying to it.

rustbucket is good, but I still think the Macintosh skin is the best ever. That one just rocks.you should do a windows skin! 3.1!

re: centering rustbucket skinI actually tried that, and disliked the results. Annie agreed with me that it looked better to the left side, so there it will stay.re: KM.org journalsGlad you like it! I’m pleased with it myself, and I’ll be even more pleased as Steve and I begin meeting some more of our goals to make the site better, such as the edit form he’s working on this weekend.

I’m not sure if rustbucket would translate well to the journals, but I’ll look into making a similar skin for them. Journal skins will be coming as soon as Steve codes up the user-login preferences.

hahaha great! I’m glad you like it. Suprisingly, there’s about a month’s worth of on-again-off-again effort invested in that skin. I kept beating my head against it, and then a few nights ago, it all just fell into place. I’m very happy with it. Coming soon: new features on KM.org, new look for yellow5.com and maybe a new personal site for me.
