Hey everyone!!!
I think I would have posted sooner if my school wasn’t dumb. The “Resnet” office shut down the entire campus ethernet for a week until they got to each and every computer on campus and installed new anti virus software. I am happy to report that I did not authorize the (insert insult here)’s to mess with my computer while I was not home :-D Regardless, we’re back online, and slow as ever.
My band, Uisce, played an awesome gig this weekend at Darcy McGee’s. It was an outdoor gig and the wind was blowing ferociously, but when the wind instruments managed to get notes out despite the wind blowing into our airholes, it sounded great! We made up 100 demos to hand out with a cool graphic to make it look almost professional, and we got a ton of email addresses. Hopefully this is the start of a beautiful career. Strangely, I managed to sprain my finger from playing guitar (on the hand that i hold the guitar pic). No idea how I did that… :~(
On a super happy note, I’m making my way out to Portland on Wednesday! I don’t know whether to be nervous or confident about flying. I’m gonna go with being confident. Sound good? I hope this will give me a chance to see most of the kmorg group, at least, those who i’ve not yet met, and of course the one’s i’ve met already.
I’m so happy, I’m not letting the fact that I have a 5 page paper and a test to get through between today and tomorrow get to me!!!
