The episode in which the real Mark Wahlberg showed up was also the episode with the real Sarah Palin. In Palin’s backstage scenes, a llama was conspicuously present over her shoulder in most of the camera shots. Not a donkey, which would have been funny (Democrats, right?) but a llama, which SNL didn’t use in any of the skits I saw. Llama? A 133t speak joke about lamers?

It drives me wild that this is not a lesson we expect people to master in high school.

Why is this so unclear to so many people?

All laborers are worthy of their hire — every worker should get paid — and every worker should pay back into the common pot a reasonable percentage to finance the society that makes their work and wages possible.

No matter what Rush and Rove say, capitalism relies on taxes to provide the infrastructure which makes private profit possible. And that’s what Obama is promoting, not socialism, which is a different kettle of fish.

I know I’ve read similar things like this before but it must a been in books instead a online.
Basically it’s not that they don’t want to identify with their economic class but they vote as if they were better off because they wish they had a higher SES and think that someday they will. Go American Dream!
