Testing on the XP box gives me the error "Synergy is about to quit with warnings or errors. Please heck the log and then click OK" - I feel stupid, but where the hell is the log?

Thanks for the article – I’ve been trying all morning to get this working using my WinXP box as my server and my OS X as the client.

Testing on the XP box gives me the error “Synergy is about to quit with warnings or errors. I use synergy served up on the mac with a PC client and it works fine. Alternatively, start it in INFO or DEBUG mode and check the logs for error messages.

Chris, you might want to check your firewall settings on either machine. If you find an answer, please feel free to come back and post it here.

I’m sorry, I have no idea – all I can tell you is that I haven’t run into that problem on any of the three computers I’ve set this up on. Synergy 1.3.0 on PC. SynergyKM (also 1.3.0) on the Mac. the PC is server, Mac is client.
In "Configure" Mac is right of server, PC is left of Mac. Log file shows connected and working on both sides. but won't jump from monitor to monitor. Have searched numerous posts and blogs, similar problems occurring for people with no answers...any ideas?

any ideas on what the problem might be here…?

Synergy 1.3.0 on PC.
