Welcome spaceninja.org to the fold! Together with spaceninja.net and spaceninja.com, this completes the holy trinity of the spaceninja domain! I toyed with the idea of buying the .info and .mobi domains also, but then decided that I don’t care.
Of course, that’s what I originally thought about spaceninja.org, and a few years later when someone had bought it, I was kicking myself for that decision…
So someone else bought spaceninja.org, and then they gave it up and you got it? Or you bought it from them at their exorbitant price?
Lucky. Some S.O.B. has owned thingsihate.com since 1998 and never done anything with it except park a “This domain for sale!” page on it.
Yeah, someone bought spaceninja.org back in the day, and by the time I realized that I wanted it, it was too late. Since then, I check every few months on the off chance that he let it expire, and recently I got lucky!
I feel it my duty to let you know that your page degrades miserably on a mobile platform, so purchasing .mobi would be a waste of money. :)
I checked out your blog on my phone on the way to work one night, and I found scrolling past your “ahem” was beyond bearable. It’s huge!
Still, I suppose it would defeat its own purpose if it was at the bottom of the page…
Waaaay back in the day (8 years ago probably) I saw that SpaceNinja.com was available. It’s always been a name I used, but I wasn’t the web professional I am today, and I didn’t think anyone else would take it so I could do it later. By the time I knew what was up, you had taken it. So the friend of mine who knew how to register a domain at the time bought spaceninja.org instead.
I just held on to .org until it got swamped with spam, and I recently let it go. I saw that you were probably going to hang on to .com, and I figured people were trying to find me at .com anyway, so forget the .org. Plus I couldn’t go anywhere with it since you have the .com so I was mainly using it for mail. My web design site is at http://www.sectorfive.com
If you had wanted .org, you could have emailed me! I would have let it go for a 6 pack of Heineken! :)
By the way, I found this post technorati.com. The site apparently searches blog posts everywhere. I’m SpaceNinja on LiveJournal and a lot of other places and so those came up, and I saw this post.

Thanks for the comment! I thought about emailing you for the .org, but I never would have felt right taking it from someone who was using it, and I didn’t think I had the money to buy it (had I only known!). Still, SectorFive.com is a pretty sweet domain, too… Best of luck!
