In the mid-90s, Kevin Smith was approached to write a script for a new Superman movie, which would later be rumored to be directed by Tim Burton with Nicholas Cage playing Superman. We’re lucky it didn’t get made because Burton and Cage aren’t exactly the pair I imagine doing Superman the right way, but it turns out there’s a worse enemy for Superman out there – the producer. Well, I can’t seem to watch the video (at work), but it sounds like the story off of An Evening with Kevin Smith. If you haven’t seen it, definitely rent it. Totally funny. :-)

seems to me Burton might depict him as a lost,
pitiful soul searching for his mother.
guess he did lose his parents before arriving on
earth in a smoldering heap of a spacecraft, though.
