This weekend, we got two little black kittens! They are about three months old, very playful, and are adorable. We’ve named them Taco and Burrito, though we have a bit of difficulty telling them apart, since they’re both black. Burrito has very slight striping on her belly and neck, but you have to be looking carefully in good light to tell. We’re probably going to get them different colored collars in the long run. Anyways, here are a few photos and a video of them playing in the bathtub.

Oskar's First Birthday Party and Zach's Piano Recital
Prepare yourself for another photo post! A week ago, we drove up North to attend Oskar’s first birthday party, which was pirate themed, and then this weekend we went up again to see Zach’s piano recital. I got some good photos at both, but the crown jewel here is video of Oskar walking!
Moving Into Hawthorne House
Annie and I have been taking lots of photos as we moved into our new apartment here in Hawthorne House, but I haven’t really had a chance to upload them all yet, so here are all the photos in one convenient photo post, complete with thumbnails. Enjoy!
Trillian profiles under Windows XP
Recently, I tried to set up Trillian for some friends of mine, who both have an account on a single computer running XP. The problem is that by default, Trillian doesn’t allow you to have different XP accounts have different Trillian profiles. If you set up User A’s account under Trillian, and then log into XP as User B, Trillian will load as User A.
Well, there is a way to do it, although you have to follow a strange set of instructions. If you’re curious, here are the instructions I followed.
Basically, you completely uninstall Trillian, including existing profiles. Then you make a clean install, delete the default profile, and then create a new profile under Documents & Settings for each user. It’s easier than it sounds, but still way more complex than it needs to be.
Workspace
The idea behind Paragraph is pretty much exactly what I’ve pictured doing for tech guys. I’m sure there’s a decent population of tech people who telecommute, but sometimes need a place to go work that isn’t the living room. For me, this desire came out of wanting to recreate the atmosphere in the tech office from when I was a computer technician at PSU, but I think it would work well for lots of people. We provide wi-fi, desks, books, and a space to hang out, and people would come. We could probably even strike a deal with a coffee stand to set up a stand in the space to provide beverages… maybe not, though.
