As long as the blog entries are categorized, which they are, people can skip over posts in categories they're not interested in, I say. I enjoyed the way I had my kmorg blog set up right before everything crashed, where I had two columns of blog and sidebar, and then a third column of photo thumbnails. That was all hand-coded, but I liked it. I can also say that I was already considering downloading picasa (unless I'm editing the photos, windows xp's built-in photo viewer works great for me), but now I'm going to download picasa and join flickr just so I can set up a photo feed. Hell yeah. What I can say is that I like it in the sidebar.
