It looks like I’m going to be unemployed by December. Nothing is 100% at this point, but my boss is closing down the company, and he says he will keep me on through the end of November if at all possible.
Obviously, this means I’m in the market for a job. I’m a highly skilled web developer, with advanced training in DHTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and all aspects of running a large-scale site. I have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, with a focus on web design. I love technology, and I have been working with computers for more than 10 years. I have work experience as a computer technician (2 years), a graphic designer (1 year), and a web developer (3 years). I work well in teams, and am highly motivated.
You can find my current contact information and my resume on my portfolio site.
If you or anyone you know of might be interested in hiring me, please feel free to contact me. Annie and I are still planning on moving to Puyallup at the end of the month, so anything in the Seattle area or telecommuting is fair game. Something design or computer related would be great, but at this point, I’m more concerned with just finding full-time employment.

Holy nuggets! That sucks. On a bright side, at least you have a scrap of time to look for a new job while the old one holds out. On the dark side, well, I’m sure you’ve got that covered. Nothing freaks me out more than not having a job.
Let Kat and I know if there’s anything we can do to help. I’ll keep an eye out for a job you’d be suited for.

I could use you over here in Baghdad. The pay is good too (6 figures). Do you have a security clearance?

Heh, that’s not as facetious as it sounds. I would consider it seriously, were I not already expecting to go over there within a year for SIGNIFICANTLY less than six figures. =)

Try quilogy.com. I just checked to see if there was one in the area and there is. My boyfriend works at the one in St. Charles, MO. I don’t know if yours is hiring, but it’s a good company with good connections.

Scott -
If relocation is an option, I’ll throw out some of my hooks and see if I can find anything. I’m in St. Louis, MO; I can look around here, and I know of a place in Texas that might be wanting somebody. Drop me an email and I’ll see if I can help you out.

Scott,
My company might be able to pull off some contract work for you. They have been looking for someone to make updates to the corporate sites for some time.
The main qualities they are looking for in the site is the “corporate look” and search engine ranking.
Let me know if you could use some contracting to line your pockets and I will hook you up with someone in charge.
