to follow up to this, i must remind all the leftists in our audience: INDYMEDIA IS NOT RELIABLE REPORTING. INDYMEDIA IS NOT RELIABLE REPORTING.

before anyone accuses me of holding down the centrist fort: you can’t blindly trust anything. all news has bias. blah blah etc.

Being “anti-war” is not being “pro-saddam.” That’s the problem I have with this article. I would love to see that waste of egg and sperm gone. He is a horrible butcher. There is no doubt about that in my mind.

I don’t believe this war will solve Iraq’s problems. I am afraid of whatever government Bush will replace Saddam with. I have no faith that it will be better. The war’s aftermath is what I am really afraid of. How will this affect the Israel/Palestine conflict? Will this make other Middle Eastern nations hate us more and fly more planes into buildings here? I don’t know.

There are tons of regimes ruled by visceral, unscrupulous dictators in other parts of the world. I don’t see the US going after those dictators and getting them out. Actually, I wonder where they get their guns that they use to opress those people.

I will now get off my soapbox. Sorry for ranting. I’m a mess.
